Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 20, for the Nov. 4 general election, with the last day to vote early in person in Texas set for Friday, Oct. 31. In Ballinger, voters will choose a mayor and City Council members for Places 1 and 2. Mayoral candidates are Darlene Kelly, Edward Garcia, and Bob McDaniel. Chad McDuffee faces Martin Akins for Place 1, while incumbent Richard Morrish is challenged by Richard Sonnenberg, Johnny Fulton, and Rachelle Williams for Place 2.
In Winters, Mayor Chris Bahlman seeks re-election. Wesley Hagle and Mike Neal are running for Place 1, and Jimmy Butler faces Carmen Martinez in the Place 3 race.
