The American Legion Post 8 will hold a Flag Retirement Ceremony on Flag Day, Saturday, June 14th. The event begins at 9 a.m. at the SPJST Lodge in Rowena. Citizens with worn or damaged flags may drop them off in advance at the KRUN Studios, 1920 Hutchings Avenue in South Ballinger. The ceremony follows proper protocols for respectful flag disposal.
