The Ballinger Lady Cats saw their season come to an end Monday night with a 40-29 loss to Ozona in a Class 2A bi-district playoff game.
Ballinger finishes the year with an impressive 24-8 overall record after a strong postseason push.
Meanwhile, the Ballinger boys are preparing for their own bi-district playoff appearance. The Bearcats will face Forsan on Monday, February 23, in San Angelo. The game time and gym location are still to be announced.
Ballinger will tune up for the playoffs with a practice game Friday night at Garden City.
