MILES ISD EXPANDS COLLEGE CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

SHARE NOW

Miles High School sophomores and juniors will have a new opportunity this school year to earn both high school and college credit through Technical Dual Credit courses.

Sophomores can earn college credit through their business class, while juniors can earn credit through a course in their Career and Technical Education, or CTE, pathway.

Unlike traditional academic dual credit, technical dual credit can help students prepare for careers through technical schools and community colleges.

The courses will be taught by Miles High School teachers. Students interested must complete a Howard College application as soon as possible.
