The cities of Ballinger and Winters will both hold municipal elections on Tuesday, November 4.
In Ballinger, voters will elect a Mayor and City Council members for Places One and Two. Incumbents Dawni Seymore, Darlene Kelly, and Richard Morrish all have terms expiring. Ballinger residents will vote at the Runnels County Election Office at 600 Strong Avenue.
In Winters, the filing period is also opened for candidates running for Mayor and City Council Places One and Three. Current officeholders are Mayor Chris Bahlman, Wesley Hagle, and Jimmy Butler.
Candidate applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. August 18.
Voter registration closes October 6. Early voting runs October 20–31. The deadline to apply for a ballot by mail is October 24.
