Ballinger Elementary scored a C, with a distinction in science, while Ballinger Junior High was rated D, scoring 69, but showed growth in reading achievement.
Nearby, Miles ISD continues to excel, ranking in the top tier statewide, with strong student proficiency in both reading and math. Winters ISD lands near the state average, showing solid gains in core subjects. Paint Rock School falls below state averages, with less than a third of students proficient in math. And Olfen ISD, one of the region’s smallest districts, has not received a current TEA rating in recent years.
