Congressman August Pfluger is now accepting entries for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for high school students across Texas’ 11th District.
This year’s theme is “Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary.” The annual contest gives students the opportunity to have their winning artwork displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The top entry will also be unveiled during a congressional reception this summer, with the winner and a guest invited to attend.
Artwork must be original, two-dimensional, and follow size guidelines outlined on the Congressman’s website.
The submission deadline is April 13th. Full details and official rules are available online through Congressman Pfluger’s website or by calling 325-247-2826.
