Runnels County 4-H has announced the creation of a scholarship foundation to recognize young people for their years of work in the program.

The county Extension Office says donations from supporters helped establish the foundation, which will provide scholarships for education after high school.

Organizers are welcoming additional contributions to help the effort grow.
