A shortage of referees is forcing a change to this week’s Paint Rock football schedule.
Paint Rock ISD says both the junior high and varsity games against Robert Lee have been moved from Friday to Thursday, Oct. 8, in Robert Lee.
The junior high game will kick off at 5:30 p.m., with the varsity Indians scheduled to follow at 7:30.
Both Paint Rock teams will travel together, leaving school after the final bell at 3:35 Thursday afternoon.
Parents taking junior high players home after their game are reminded to first have their student officially signed out and released by a coach.
