Farmers and ranchers in Runnels and Coleman counties have access to federal disaster assistance following USDA drought designations.
The Farm Service Agency says eligible producers may apply for emergency loans to help recover from agricultural losses.
The assistance can help with replacing essential equipment or livestock, reorganizing farm operations and refinancing certain debts.
One designation affecting both counties has a November nineteenth application deadline.
Producers are encouraged to contact their local Farm Service Agency office to determine eligibility and begin the application process before the deadline.
