The University Interscholastic League released its latest football realignment this morning, setting district matchups for area teams for the next two seasons, spanning the 2026 through 2028 school years.
Ballinger moves into District 4 – 2A Division One, joining Big Lake, Christoval, Colorado City, Forsan, Ozona, and Sonora.
Winters and Miles remain together in District 7- 2A Division Two, alongside Albany, Cross Plains, Goldthwaite, Hamlin, and Stamford.
In six-man football, Bronte and Paint Rock stay paired in District 7 with Baird, Robert Lee, Roscoe Highland, and Santa Anna.
Olfen will compete in District 7 six-man play against Blackwell, Loraine, Trent, and Panther Creek.
