The Texas Midwest Community Network — an alliance of more than fifty West-Central Texas communities working together to promote economic and community growth — is rolling out new virtual learning opportunities for 2026. Founded in 1994, TMCN connects local leaders from communities including Ballinger to Abilene and San Angelo to strengthen regional partnerships, provide leadership training, and boost economic development across rural counties.
TMCN members told organizers that attending in-person luncheons isn’t always easy, so the network will now host member-only webinars covering topics such as economic development, chamber best practices, leadership and community impact. The online format lets members join from the office, boardroom or wherever they are, increasing flexibility and engagement.
The initiative reflects TMCN’s continuing mission to bring resources and collaboration to small towns throughout the region.
