The Winters Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual BBQ Fundraiser on Sunday, August 9, at the Winters Community Center in Winters Park.
Serving will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The meal features all-you-can-eat brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage, beans and potato salad. Meals will be available for dine-in or take home.
The fundraiser helps support the department’s mission of providing fire protection and emergency response services to the Winters community and surrounding area. Proceeds will be used to help purchase equipment, maintain firefighting apparatus and provide training for volunteer firefighters.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under.
Department officials encourage residents throughout the AgriPlex to come out, enjoy a meal and help support the men and women who volunteer their time to protect the community.
