Rudy Casarez Amaro
1959-2026
Rudy Casarez Amaro, 67, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away on March 22nd, 2026. He was born on January 13th, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas, to Lucinda Amaro and Pedro Amaro, Jr., both of whom preceded him in death.

Rudy was a hardworking man who spent much of his life providing for his family through many different jobs. Over the years, he worked in the oil field and later at Muellers, a siding and metal roofing company. No matter where he worked, Rudy carried a strong work ethic and took pride in doing what he could to support the people he loved.

Above all else, Rudy loved his family. He was the devoted husband of Linda Amaro, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage, building a life filled with memories, challenges and a bond that only decades together can create.

He was a proud father to Melissa Knowles, Pete Amaro III and Rudy “RJ” Amaro Jr. He was also a loving grandfather to Adelynn Amaro, Trinity Amaro, Colby Garrison and Dominic Flores, all of whom brought him great joy.

Rudy is also survived by his brother, Richard Amaro and sister, Connie Amaro, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember him fondly.

Rudy enjoyed the things that brought people together. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, always following his teams through every season. Wrestling was another passion that stayed with him throughout his life. That love began when his father took him and his sister Connie to wrestling shows in Abilene when they were young, memories that stayed with him and sparked a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.

Rudy will be remembered as a man who worked hard, loved his family deeply and appreciated the simple joys in life, watching a game, talking about sports and spending time with the people who meant the most to him.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on March 25th, 2026, at Lange Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on March 26th, 2026, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. With Father Hilary celebrating.

Pallbearers for his funeral service will be Carlos Pena, Justin Amaro, Dominic Flores, Carlos Segovia, Jr. , Martin Villareal, and Domingo Villareal. Honorary Pallbearer will be Raymond Ramos.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew and loved him.
