Runnels County agricultural producers and residents are invited to the 2026 Runnels County Ag Day, Thursday, April 2nd at the Miles Young Farmers Building.
The event begins at 9am with registration and booth visitation, followed by educational programs for both producers and homeowners.
Producer sessions will focus on cotton input management, precision weed control, the new world screwworm and farm safety. Homeowner programs include consumer safety, whole grain nutrition, chair yoga and freeze drying.
A combined luncheon at 11:45am will feature keynote speaker Dan Hunter with the USDA Farm Service Agency, giving an agriculture update.
Awards will also be presented for Farm Family of the Year and Agribusiness of the Year.
