The City of Ballinger is launching a citywide code ordinance violation round-up in the coming weeks, aimed at addressing ongoing property concerns.

City officials say enforcement efforts will focus on common violations including tall grass and weeds, junk and debris, substandard structures, and dead trees.

Residents are urged to check their property now and take action to avoid penalties. The city warns that violations could result in a municipal court summons, with only a limited time to comply before fines are issued.

Officials say they understand cleanup can be overwhelming and encourage residents to contact City Hall for assistance or information about disposal options, including use of the recycle center.

For more details or help, residents can call Ballinger City Hall at 325-365-3511.
