Starting after the last day of school, the Carnegie Ballinger Library is rewarding kids for summer reading. Children who check out and read five books can earn a free soft-serve ice cream cup from Sonic in Ballinger. Read 10 books and receive a free day pass to the Ballinger City Pool. Stop by the library to pick up a reading form and start tracking books and authors for prizes all summer long.
