The Ballinger Bearcats will open the 2026 football season August 28th on the road at Eastland as they begin a new era in a new district.
Ballinger moves into District 4-2A Division I this fall and will face new district opponents including Forsan, Colorado City, Reagan County, Christoval, Sonora and Ozona.
Home games at Bearcat Stadium will be Odessa Compass on September 4th, Brady for Homecoming on September 18th, Forsan October 9th, Christoval October 23rd and Ozona November 6th for Senior Night.
Road games include Eastland, Early, Reagan County, Colorado City and Sonora.
The Bearcats will play a full 10-game schedule with no open date in 2026
