After documenting Runnels County’s schools, churches and military veterans, the county historical commission is turning its attention to barns and homesteads.
The group is seeking photographs of local barns and homes at least 75 years old for its next book, “Barns and Homesteads of Runnels County.”
Residents should include older and current pictures, if available, plus a brief history identifying builders, construction dates and previous owners.
Family stories and other farm buildings are welcome. Email submissions to [email protected] or [email protected].
