January is Texas School Board Recognition Month, and across Runnels County, local communities are honoring the volunteers who help guide public education.
In Ballinger, the Independent School District Board of Trustees includes President Manuel Galvan, Vice President Scott King, and Secretary Cheryl Buchanan, along with Jason Strube, .Michelle Aguilar, Jason Battle, and Stephen King.
In Winters, board members include President Brandi Jacobs, Vice President Angela Perkins, Secretary Conda Richards, Will Duggan, Doug Wheat, David Pate, and Danny Martinez.
School board members set policies, approve budgets, and work closely with superintendents to help students and staff succeed. Runnels County extends heartfelt thanks for their dedication and commitment to our local schools.
