Ballinger ISD families are being invited to a free one-day student and parent event in San Angelo.
Hosted by Region 15 Education Service Center, the “PowerUp Retreat 2026” is set for Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 612 South Irene. The program is open to parents and students entering sixth through 12th grades.
Organizers say the retreat will connect families with education experts and community resources, with lunch provided. Topics include teen mental health, leadership, college preparation and career pathways. Participants will also receive a parent-student success binder.
