Aggies in Runnels County will continue a longstanding tradition later this month with the annual Aggie Muster.
The event is set for Tuesday, April 21st at the Schniers Cook Shack on Pecan Street in Rowena. A meet and greet begins at 6:30 p-m, followed by a meal at 7, and a program afterward.
The cost is 20 dollars per person, and attendees are asked to r-s-v-p by April 14th to organizer Brad Teplicek.
Aggie Muster dates back more than a century to early Texas A&M traditions and is held each year on April 21st — the anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto.
Today, musters are held worldwide, honoring Aggies who have passed and celebrating the shared spirit of the Aggie family.
