Texas Game Wardens have honored Runnels County Game Warden Keegan Moore for saving a man’s life following a serious crash in Coleman County last September.
Moore came upon a collision between a vehicle and heavy construction equipment. Noticing the driver was suffering a severe arm laceration and profuse bleeding, Moore quickly applied a tourniquet, stabilizing the victim until emergency crews arrived. A responding paramedic later confirmed Moore’s swift action unquestionably saved the man’s life.
Moore received the Director’s Life-Saving Award, one of several recognitions presented by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to wardens whose courage and decisiveness directly protect public safety.
