Olga Ortiz Reyna, 77, of Winters passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 surrounded by family.
She was born April 13, 1948 in Bexar County to Daniel and Florentina Ortiz and grew up in San Antonio. She married Epifanio Reyna in Fisher County in 1962 and they moved to Laredo. They made Winters their home in 1970. Epifanio preceded her in death on October 21, 2011. Olga worked for Dry's Manufacturing for 30 years. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply.
She is survived by 6 children: Sylvia Krause of Winters, Ramiro Reyna of Winters, Epifanio Reyna, Jr. of Winters, Victoria Garcia and husband Jose of Winters, Jesus Reyna of Winters, and Sandy Reyna and husband Jimmy Rodriguez of Winters; 4 brothers: Richard Ortiz and wife Hopie of San Antonio, Rudy Ortiz of San Antonio, Daniel Ortiz, Jr. of San Antonio, and Joe Ortiz of San Antonio; 2 sisters: Graciela Lona of San Antonio and Rosalinda Munguia of San Antonio; as well as 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Winters Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Mount Carmel Catholic Church with burial following at Lakeview Cemetery.
