Organizers are warning that this year’s Winters Christmas Parade may be canceled due to a lack of participation. Only a small number of entries have signed up, far below what’s needed to hold the annual holiday tradition.
Officials are urging Winters residents, businesses, school groups, and community organizations to register as soon as possible. Entries of all kinds are welcome, including floats, cars and trucks, golf carts, walkers, and bike riders.
The registration deadline is December 10th at 5 p.m., and the parade is scheduled for December 13th at 3:30. Community leaders say the parade can still move forward — but only if residents step up and get involved now.
