A Miles man is facing a three-million-dollar total bond after being indicted in connection with a deadly Mother’s Day shooting in San Angelo.
Twenty-year-old Jeremiah Sanchez of Miles was indicted July 16 on charges of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, tampering with physical evidence, and two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity, according to court records reported by Concho Valley Homepage
According to court records, Sanchez is accused of fatally shooting 22-year-old Jaborien Cook and wounding another person during the May 10 shooting.
Sanchez was booked into the Tom Green County Jail August 7. The organized criminal activity charges allege the offenses were committed as a member of the Southside 25 street gang.
Two other suspects, 21-year-old Zachary Garza and 18-year-old Nikolai Sanchez, were also indicted on murder and related charges in the case
